Shirley forces, in the
Metro Earthworks division (www.metroearthworks.com),
was awarded the contract for all sitework and
infrastructure for the Ft belvoir complex. The
Military Family Housing reconstruction Program
is a national program in a design build format
with the goal of modernizing the family housing
complexes of many of the larger military installations
in the country. Metro Earthworks, under contract
to Clark Pinnacle Family Housing, is contracted
to assist in the design development, design, and
all construction for the replacement infrastructure
for the Fort Belvoir Complex comprising over 2000
family housing units. The work includes demolition
of all existing features, resconstruction of all
utility services ( water, sewer, drainage, and
others) grading for all housing lots, and the
roadway and pedestrian infrastructure provided
for military families. |
