I am pleased to present this Certification of Appreciation in recognition of your exceptional performance for the Replacement Bridge 1740, at the Marine Corps Base, Quantico, under Contract N62477-94-C-0067.

This contract required the replacement of an existing highway bridge over the primary north-south mainline of the CSXT Railroad on the East Coast. No delays of rail service could be allowed to occur.

During construction of the new bridge, and demolition of the existing bridge, your close coordination with the railroad ensured no delays were experienced due to construction. Despite problems encountered during the work, such as relocation of major communication lines and a requirement for additional fill material, your superior management of the work minimized the impact on base operations, and brought the project in five months ahead of the contract completion date.
